Kenny Natt relaxed in his seat at the Kings' practice facility as the sound
of a lone basketball bouncing rhythmically played off the walls.

Post-trade deadline, Natt said, he is finding his reworked squad to be more
focused on both ends of the floor and more willing to work together.

"Overall, I think it's a harder-working team," Natt said. "The new guys have
inspired the guys who were here."
The Kings look to improve their 3-6 post-trade record Friday as they host the
Cleveland Cavaliers.
In the meantime, the Kings hope some of their aching players recuperate in
time. Four sat out Wednesday's practice, including Kevin Martin, who turned
his chronically sore left ankle in the second quarter of Tuesday's 99-98 loss
to Oklahoma City at Arco Arena.

Spencer Hawes also did not participate, resting his left knee, which he
bruised in the game.

Beno Udrih continues to rehabilitate a sprained foot that has kept him out of
the past five games. On Wednesday, Udrih showed progress as he hit jump shots
while working with assistant coach Randy Brown after practice. Natt said he
doesn't know if Udrih will play Friday and that he won't be certain of the
point guard's return until he participates in a practice.

Seldom-used reserve Cedric Simmons (sprained right ankle) also sat out.

"We're a little banged up," Natt said.
As is, possibly, Andres Nocioni's pride. The forward badly missed an open
19-footer with 6.9 seconds remaining Tuesday that would have tied the score.

Nocioni was not available after the game, and declined to talk to the media
after Wednesday's practice.

Natt said everything went right with that play, which was designed to give
three or four players a chance at a shot.

"It happens that Noc was open, probably too open for him," Natt said. "I
thought he had a good look, but he was just too open. … I told him at the
end of the game when I went in the locker room and he had his head down that,
'Hey, it wasn't your shot that lost this game.' His effort on the defensive
end is what I was most impressed with. Those are the things I'm looking at,
not that shot."

Natt admitted he overlooked rookie Donté Greene in Tuesday's game as he
continues to shuffle players in an attempt to find working rotations earlier
in games.
Natt承認禮拜二的比賽他忽略了Greene。(真的被遺忘了....)
"I still have Donté in mind in terms of primarily playing (power forward),"
Natt said. "Guys were playing so great (Tuesday) night (that) it just slipped
away from me. I might have kept Jason (Thompson) out there longer than I
should have. Those were minutes Donté could have played."
「Greene仍然在我內心中(這時候講也太慢了吧)，那天大家都打得很棒，就讓我忘了這件
事。我也許讓小湯打太久了，Greene應該要有一些上場時間的」
