Talk of defensive accountability continued during the Kings' practice
Saturday. Tonight, coach Kenny Natt will see if the talk turns to action as
the Kings face the Denver Nuggets at Arco Arena.

"I think they've gotten the message that if they plan on being in the game
and contributing, they have to do it on both ends of the floor," Natt said.
"We'll see if they really get the message."

The Kings enter tonight's game well-rested after having four days between
contests, including two days off.
國王這段時間已經休息很久了。

However, starting point guard Beno Udrih will sit out a fourth game with a
sprained right foot. Udrih has not practiced since suffering the injury early
in a Feb. 25 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats.
然而，Beno還是一樣溫板凳，他已經很久沒有練習了。

The Kings do expect to have swingman Francisco García, who broke his right
ring finger in Tuesday's loss to the Indiana Pacers. García practiced with a
splint Saturday and will tape his injured finger to his middle finger
tonight. He said the injury is still immensely painful when he does just
about anything on the court.

García joked Saturday that he would play with four fingers if needed. It's
that grit that has always earned his teammates' respect.
Cisco開玩笑說如果有需要他可以只用四隻手指頭。也因為他的膽量讓隊友都很尊敬他。

"It shows a whole lot, especially when we aren't in the playoff race or
anything like that," said rookie power forward Jason Thompson. "That shows
what a guy means to the team.
「這代表很多東西，尤其是我們現在不在季後賽競爭行列，這展現了球員對球隊的意義」

"It gives a lot of respect to the locker room knowing that a guy like that
being injured will still take the time and heart and be in the huddles and
playing with us and giving his heart on the court."

Natt took his defensive accountability message to his team Thursday, saying
any player who didn't give consistent effort on both ends of the floor would
be benched. Two nights before, his team lost to the Pacers 117-109. The Kings
fell behind 65-51 in the first half as the Pacers met little resistance in
the paint.
Natt把他的想法和全隊說了。

Following that game, Natt called his team's defense "atrocious" and
attributed it to a lack of effort. That had the coach considering lineup
changes. Natt said he would decide before tonight's game. Denver has lost six
of its past nine games, including three of the past four.

Spencer Hawes said he welcomed Natt's warning to play hard or be pulled.

"We have to do something," Hawes said. "We have to try something that we
haven't been doing."

When it comes to messages, Thompson said he's happy to continue sending out
one of his own.

"If a team comes in here and thinks they can do whatever they want in the
paint, I take that to heart," Thompson said. "Maybe that's one of the reasons
I lead the league in fouls, because I'm not trying to have a guy just come in
there and think they can do whatever they want.

"I'm going to send a message that I'm not just a soft rookie or something
like that. I'm going to give them a hard foul if they try to go for the dunk.
You have to send the message early."

話，你應該要早點有點意見」
