     NBA notes: Peja's ankle is OK, says MRI test

    Kings spokesman Troy Hanson said Tuesday that team trainer Pete
    Youngman spoke with forward Peja Stojakovic, who stated that a
    magnetic resonance imaging test on his sprained left ankle was
    negative.

    Stojakovic sprained the ankle Monday while playing for defending
    champion Serbia and Montenegro at the European Championships in
    Boras, Sweden.

    Hanson said Stojakovic's ankle has what Youngman termed as a little
    bit of swelling, but the player didn't need crutches to walk.

    Stojakovic isn't expected to play today against Lithuania. He's
    listed as day-to-day.
