Hawes ties career-high, but team falters again

追平生涯最高是有屁用喔？

Saturday night's game was the kind where giving the Kings a moral victory
would almost seem appropriate.

    差點我們就會爽翻天。

Tyreke Evans, the team's leading scorer with Kevin Martin out, didn't play
because of a sprained right middle finger and a sore right ankle after Friday
night's loss in Dallas.

    Evans 右手中指扭傷以及右腳踝酸痛。

They were in the second of back-to-back road games but led entering the
fourth quarter before eventually falling 113-106 to the Houston Rockets at
the Toyota Center.

    這是我們今年第二次的客場背靠背，帶著領先進入第四節，卻只能低頭走出球場。

But the Kings don't want any pats on the back. They wanted the win, not their
third consecutive defeat.

    我們才不要什麼安慰勒，我們要的是勝利，不是三連敗。

"You can give out consolation prizes," said center Spencer Hawes. "We played
well, our effort was good, but at the end of the day what we want the most is
notches in the win column."

It was hard to fault the Kings' effort. They fell behind by 15 in the first
half and trailed by nine in the third before an 11-0 run gave them a 71-69
lead. Sacramento was up 84-80 entering the fourth quarter and led 101-99 with
4:23 left in the game.

    第一節落後十五分，第三節還落後九分。沒人想到他們能打了一波十一分的攻勢。直

The Rockets used a 14-7 run to close the game, fueled by the play of reserves
Carl Landry and Kyle Lowry.

Evans has scored at least 20 points in his last six games. But the Kings were
still able to produce on offense, led by Hawes, who tied his career high with
24 points.

"They have heart," said Kings coach Paul Westphal. "The one thing we're
lacking right now is we quite haven't learned how to win. But it's not for
lack of effort. It's lack of experience and playing together. And give
Houston credit, they made some plays."

火箭卻在這段時間做出了表現。」教頭說。

Besides his 24 points, Hawes added nine rebounds and two blocked shots. After
missing his first 13 threepointers of the season, Hawes made two of three.

    除了二十四分外，阿屁還有九籃板和兩火鍋。連十三失手之後，今晚他也進了兩顆三
分球。

Hawes spent part of the offseason getting stronger to work in the paint, and
he did that, including two makes in the paint that kept the Kings (5-7) close
in the fourth.

    阿屁在暑假有練壯，好讓自已可以往禁區打，他也做到了，他的得分讓國王和火箭在
第四節緊咬。

"(Hawes) really played a good game," Westphal said. "The key in this league
is once you show you can do it is to keep backing it up. It was nice to see."

    「他這場打得不錯，但好表現更重要的是持續下去，我希望看到他這樣下去。」教頭
說。

Hawes said his aggressive attitude on offense was intentional from the start.

    阿屁說他從比賽一開始就很努力進攻。

"Knowing that Tyreke was out, we were all going to have to step up and
shoulder a little bit more of that burden," Hawes said. "A lot of guys
stepped up tonight, but unfortunately we came up short."

    「沒有Evans ，我們就必須每個人跳出來去擔起責任。很多人今晚都打得不錯，但就
差在關鍵一步。」阿屁說。

With his outside shot finally falling, his inside game working and making an
impact defensively, it looked like Hawes' best game of the season.

    有遠投，有禁區，還有些防守。這看來是他本季最好的一場比賽。

"I don't know about that," Hawes said. "It's hard to look at it the same when
you come out with the L."

    「喔，輸了這些怎麼看都沒必要。」阿屁說。

Six Kings scored in double figures. Beno Udrih had 18 points and eight
assists. Rookie Omri Casspi came off thebench for 17 points, his season high.

    六個國王得分雙位數，Beno有18分、8助攻。Casspi也是生涯新高的17分。

Donte' Greene started for Evans and had 13 points. "You can tell it's a
different team than it was last year," Thompson said. "You have guys that are
always ready when their number's called. They're just not in there just to be
in there. They can really be effective."

    Greene今天又有得先發，他拿了13分。「你可以看出來，這是一隻不同的球隊，每個
人都會在他們上場時準備好，他們不會呆站在那兒，而是會拿出表現。」JT說。

Luis Scola led the Rockets (8-6) with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Landry had
20 points off the bench.Trevor Ariza finished with 19 points.

    Scola 有22分12籃板，Landry得20分，Ariza則是19分進帳。

我還是覺得Hawes今天打得不錯，關鍵消失這點，感覺他不是要被鞭的第一順位

卡位真的還是不夠，可是他很努力要球單打禁區，不論結果好壞

總比一直站在三分線然後等球當傻瓜好多了

→ pennykidd:他的不穩定進攻防守不佳帶給球隊的傷害很大就算進攻穩定
