  The number of one of the greatest players in Kings history, Mitch Richmond
  , found its place in the rafters of ARCO Arena  after a special retirement
  ceremony  on Friday,  December 5,  2003.  The first true  superstar in the
  Sacramento-era, Richmond was rewarded for his years of hard work and labor
  with the Kings' franchise  and the city of Sacramento.  No other King will
  ever wear the number two again.
