NEW YORK, December 6, 2005 – New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball
Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that forward/guard Qyntel Woods has
been signed as a free agent.

Woods, 6-8, 220-pounds, has appeared in 118 career games for Portland and
Miami over the past three seasons and averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds.
The 24-year-old Memphis, TN-native was originally selected after his
sophomore season out of Northeast Mississippi Community College by the
Trail Blazers in the first round (21st pick overall) of the 2002 NBA Draft.

The roster is now at 15.
