NEW YORK, January 17, 2005 – New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball
Operations Isiah Thomas announced today that guard Jamal Crawford has been
activated and guard Moochie Norris has been placed on the Injured List with
left Achilles tendinitis.
Crawford, 6-5, 190-pounds, has missed the last 10 games due to right turf toe
that occurred on Dec. 22 at Boston. The four-year NBA veteran is averaging
19.3 points and 3.7 assists in 26 starts this season. The Knicks have posted
a 4-6 record in his absence.
Norris, 6-1, 185-pounds, is averaging 2.6 points and 10.7 minutes in 25 bench
appearances.
