The Denver Nuggets ruined Thomas' day by claiming
Michael Doleac off waivers yesterday.
Doleac, who was traded last week to Atlanta in the deal for
Nazr Mohammed, was subsequently released by the Hawks. Doleac was all
set to re-sign with the Knicks, had he cleared waivers.
The Knicks likely will try to sign Doleac, who becomes a free
agent this summer.
