Good Chemistry, No Time For Trades
(Big C) It’s about that time of year when you can expect trade rumors to
start picking up steam. Teams that are winning are looking for one extra
player to make a strong playoff run. Teams that playing poor are looking
to let go of dead weight and get an extreme makeover.
又到了交易的日子，不論強隊或是弱隊都會尋求交易讓狀況變好。
Then you have the Knicks. The Knicks are currently a winning team and they
are no longer giving opponents easy wins. Much of the Knicks winning has
to do with team chemistry. The starting lineup is "gel-ling", the guys are
playing team basketball, and most importantly the Knicks are winning.
Currently the Knicks are 18-12 and in 6th place in East with the playoffs
looking very plausible every day.
尼克，目前被歸類成強隊，他們不再讓對手輕易的從他們身上取走勝利，

Now the question is, “Should the Knicks make any trades to try and improve
their ball club?” At this point I would have to say no. Making major trades
during the middle of the season disrupts team chemistry.
現在的問題是，尼克應該透過交易來讓他們變好嗎?
(這邊指試圖讓團隊變得更好，因為交易不一定就會變得更好，主要指的是大交易)
作者的觀點是，不! 在季中做大交易會破壞球隊已經建立起來的化學反應。
(我這邊舉個例子，魔術隊，或許他們這次的交易補強了球隊所需要的，但是，你說
他們今年有機會爭東區冠軍? 我想是一點機會都沒有..魔術迷手下留情= =)
Over the last few years the Knicks made trades specifically to clear cap
room or to go after top free agents in the offseason. The Knicks already
have the cap room to go after a top free agent in summer of 2011 or 2012
therefore there is no reason make changes to the current roster. They are
winning and playing well and there's no guarantee that will continue after
a trade is made.
尼克在過去幾季清出了薪資空間，而且在自由市場上釣大魚。
尼克已經有足夠的薪資空間在2011或是2012於自由市場上簽下頂薪球員，因此他們
沒有必要去改變目前的陣容，尼克贏球而且打得很好，沒人保證它們在交易過後能
夠像現在這麼好。
(看來作者並不太想要Melo來紐約，他希望能夠靠自由市場補人，不過那樣不是一樣會
破壞化學反應嗎?)
It took the current Knicks team a training camp, preseason, and a month and
a half to really start clicking. Plus there are still things the players have
to get use to. Just imagine how long it might take the Knicks to get rolling
if there are more major changes in the starting lineup.
尼克花了不久時間磨合出目前的狀況，訓練營、季前賽、 1.5個月的季賽，而且仍然再
調整當中，想想看，如果這時候來一筆大交易，那需要多少時間才能夠再次進入正軌。
Let's just say, unless it’s Carmelo Anthony, I do not see the Knicks making
any real trades. Especially bringing in players that will add salary as the
Knicks prepare to go into the 2011 free agency. I don’t see it happening.
除了甜瓜別給我搞別的交易，尤其是那些會吃掉我們薪資空間的交易。
(看來是我誤會他了..)
Some fans might be getting anxious for a trade because it’s that time of
year. However, don’t bank on it. The Knicks are excelling with team
chemistry at the forefront.
有些球迷可能非常渴望交易，畢竟這是一個交易的季節。
但是不要指望交易了，尼克目前的化學反應是聯盟中最好的。
