1. Kobe passive in second half

  上一次當 Kobe 碰上金塊時他得到了四十二分, 賽後 Michael Cooper 認為他的球隊算
有效控制了 Kobe 的進攻. 從數據和內容上來看, 今天這場比賽 Cooper 這麼講大家不會
有太多異見.

   與上次比賽大部分放 DerMarr Johnson 與 Kobe 單邊放對不同的, 這場 Cooper 換上
Greg Buckner 和 Johnson 輪流來伺候 Kobe, 同時在他接球時大量採用包夾的方式. 在被
包夾的情況下, Kobe 大多選擇把球傳出去. 而下半場在球隊落後的情況下他似乎沒有特別
積極的嘗試去突破對方的防守, 仍以傳球給隊友為主. 整個下半場他只有五次的出手.

   全場比賽他得到十六分, 是賽季三十三場以來第三低的得分紀錄.


．湯帥在比賽中屢次對場上的球員吶喊往籃下打, 別只是在外線投籃. 賽後他坦承: We
  did have some settles. 湖人隊在離開明尼蘇達的班機遭延遲兩個小時的情況下, 後面
  的行程安排隨之受到影響. 前天的練球因此取消. 而比賽當天早上又因丹佛下大雪的緣
  故只能待在旅館中. 當記者問到是不是因為過去兩天缺乏練習的緣故才會導致這場比賽
  外線命中率低落時, 湯帥有點生氣的回答, "I just don't want to have any excuse
  in this thing." Kobe 則說, 球隊機會都出來了, 但就是沒進.
．Lamar 表示每次輸球後大家拿出來檢討的總是團隊防守方面的問題. "Every time we
  lose, basically we've had the same discussion. It's just team defense. It's
  too easy."

2. Kobe on playing in Denver & more

   沒什麼意外的, Kobe 在賽前介紹時引起了 Pepsi Center 現場球迷一陣噓聲. 比賽中
當他拿到球時現場又開始噓聲四起. 然而這次的狀況比他去年來的時候好多了. 觀眾席上
可以看到不少穿著八號球衣衣服的球迷, 另外在湖人後方的觀眾席上, 有一群支持者在
Kobe 得分後都會大聲為他歡呼.

   "It's really not a big deal to me. It really isn't. I have a lot of support
out here. You can't please everybody. Some people, they're not going to like me
. Some people do. ... This game really wasn't on my mind. Just coming in and
playing in another city."

   他說去年來到這邊打球時他可以把場上和場外的情況劃開來, 但也說這次來丹佛壓力的
確沒那麼大.

   "Definitely less stressful."

   "It's not a sense of closure. The basketball court has nothing to do with
when everything was done with. It's completely separated. It was separate for
me last year. The thing that made the game somewhat stressful was everybody
else combining the two. Once you stepped out there on the floor, I just felt
really relaxed and playing the game. To me, Denver and my situation [in Eagle
have] always been separated."

   "People like hoopla, they like drama. It's very easy to get consumed by that
and get caught up in all of that. I think people are just kind of moving on. I
know I've learned from everything that's going on in my life. Hopefully other
people will learn from it as well."

   他談到他對上個球季自己的表現並不滿意. 但在季前沒什麼訓練的情況下, 他認為他應
該盡力做到最好了.

   "I wasn't happy with the way I played. But in looking back at going through
a whole summer of not training at all, and then everything else, I think I did
as good as I could possibly do."

   還有, 當地媒體提到今年明星賽在丹佛舉行, 而 Kobe 和 Shaq 的對決在聖誕節當天把
收視率炒起來, 這次的明星賽週末焦點會不會又放到他倆身上時, 他的回應是:

   I hope not. I think it will take away from the focus of all these great
players on the court at the same time. It shouldn't take away. It should be
about the NBA and the young stars that we have, helping the league out popu-
larity-wise and all of us being on the court at the same time.

   接著在被問到 Melo 最近在場上有些掙扎的情況, 他說只要保持對籃球的專注, 事情就
會跟著好轉:

   I definitely dealt with my ups and downs, as he is, too. The important thing
is to be resilient. ... The only thing that matters is what people focus on:
your game. Focus on that. That's what got you to this point in the beginning,
your game. Continue to stay hard, focus on basketball, and everything else will
take care of itself.

   最後在被問到灌籃大賽時, 他開玩笑說, "I'm too old. I dunk out of necessity."

3. Kobe, LeBron, head-to-head

   這應該會是 Kobe 和 LeBron 第一次正式的交手吧.

   上個賽季兩隊第一次交手時, Kobe 在三分線外一個假動作晃起 Kedrick Brown 然後被
對方一屁股坐在右肩膀上, 後來比賽勉強再打了第二節就退場. 第二次交手時 Kobe 因手
指受傷被放到傷兵名單上.

   他昨天談目前在聯盟中聲勢高漲的 LeBron James, "I love his game. I like
watching him. It's enjoyable."

   對於兩人的比較, 他說, "Completely different [styles]. He's a passer first. I
was always a scorer first. People compare our athleticism, but as far as our
game goes, it's different."

   "His team's obviously playing extremely well over there in the Eastern Con-
ference. We're trying to make some noise here in the West and improve on a
daily basis."

   LeBron James 曾在十二月七日對籃網的賽後訪問說 Kobe 是聯盟最好的 perimeter
player, 如果他在外圍拿到球看到 Kobe 在左翼, 他會毫不遲疑地將球傳給他.

   他在賽前接受訪問表示 Kobe 是他學習的對象.

   "Kobe's helping them win games, as simple as that. He's making other players
on his team better, and that's his job."

   "I respect the man. I respect the way he plays, his determination. He's
always going to be a role model. First time I met him and had a chance to talk
to him, he was fair and straightforward with me and he always has been."
