星期二下午 Kobe Bryant 結束球隊練球準備騎摩托車離開球場時，表示他的肩膀在經歷
一場的比賽後感覺沒什麼問題，沒有傷勢加重的情形。

對於 Kobe 連續兩場個人秀的演出，禪師和在進攻上空間相形受到更大壓縮的 Payton
表示了他們的看法。
Phil Jackson 說，"A lot of times you have to ride the hot hand, especially
in a game where you're 15 down. You don't have time to check out if anybody
else is going to get hot. Every possession has to become a critical one."
Payton 則在言語上透露他打算去適應 Kobe 持球進攻的特性，他說 "That's just him
. This was his team. In Seattle, if he would have come to my team, I probably
would have been dominating the ball too. So, it's a thing like that. You've got
to adjust to it. He's more comfortable when he has the ball and makes plays.
I'm more comfortable when I have the ball and make plays. But I'm here and I
have to adjust to that. What I have to do is help him, as much as possible."

在對芝加哥賽後，昔日公牛隊友 Jordan，Pippen，Paxson，Grant 和禪師聚首談天飲
酒約莫十五分鐘的時間。小型聚會解散後，禪師帶 Jordan 和他就讀高中的兒子一塊到湖
人的客隊休息室中找 Kobe (而他也是當晚最後離開休息室的湖人隊員)。
