  這個時裝秀一方面是廣告電影 "National Treasure" 的 DVD 發行，一方面是為了聖猶
大兒童研究醫院 (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital，Kobe 之前去的醫院) 募款

  由於 Phil Jackson 有可能會選擇到 2006-07 球季才回到 NBA 的緣故，湖人球團開始
跟 Flip Saunders 展開接觸。

　Flip Saunders 大概沒有一定要找份工作的壓力，因為在下個球季灰狼仍需支付他五百
萬美金的薪水，除非他到了一個付給他更高薪資的球隊。如果他的新工作領到的薪水不足
五百萬的話，灰狼將會幫他補上差額。至於教練工作的部分，輿論認為騎士隊會比湖人更
適合他。主因是他跟那個地方有很深的淵源。

　Mitch Kupchak 之前說過希望能在選秀會前找到個新的教練，幫助擬定接下來選人或交
易的策略跟方向。倘若湖人有時間壓力的話，一些名字自然就被排除可能性了。再者，湖
人在碰到湯帥的意外離職後，應該體認到沒有本錢在球季中再面對這麼大的變動。而一個
重建中的球隊需要的是一個確定的方向。就這幾點的話，Phil Jackson 恐怕是眼前最好的
人選。

  當然這邊有個結就是，如果當初 Jerry Buss 選擇要在 Staples Center 重現過往 SHOW
TIME 的球風，現在他能下定決心重新擁抱三角嗎？

  一個星期前 ESPN 登出 Kobe 和 Phil 將在上個星期內會面的消息。

  一個星期過了。

  所以 T.J. Simers 說。

  A WEEK ago Ric Bucher wrote a byline story for ESPN.com saying Jackson and
Kobe Bryant were "scheduled to meet in Los Angeles."

  That was last week, so I called Bucher to find out how the meeting went.
There was no meeting, he said, and, he added, he didn't write the ESPN.com
story.

  I told him about the story, his byline and even read it to him, and he said,
"I didn't write a story."

  After the recent Peter Gammons episode, forget the bylines, there's no
telling who writes the stories anymore on ESPN.com.
