這一篇報導其實也沒有說明案情有何重大發展
因為不管是當地的警方檢察官或是Kobe的委任律師都對案子三緘其口
只是說目前檢方還沒有就sexual assault正式起訴Kobe
所以目前就法律上來說Bryant是清白的
這篇報導也有提到
"Under Colorado law, sexual assault could range from fondling to rape."
所以到目前還不清楚Kobe到底是肢體上的騷擾或是真的有強姦
fondle可以解釋為to touch or caress somebody in an aggressive or unwelcome way
基本上應該是不算性行為
但rape就有包含性行為了
如果真的是rape的話 罪行應該會比較重一點
(我不懂法律所以我也不清楚)
至於有人說Kobe是主動自首
就我認知
自首可以說是認罪了 只是祈求減輕刑責
他是主動接受警方偵訊 在偵訊過程中相當配合警方
"turned himself in"不能視為自首
不過現在倒是Kobe的律師反控當地警長"complete bias"
bias可以解釋為偏見 不公平的
更廣義來說這個指控可能包含種族歧視
"Contrary to the direct instruction of the district attorney's office,
the Eagle County sheriff's office sought and obtained an arrest warrant ...
this action illustrates the complete bias of the sheriff's office,"
said Denver attorney Pamela Mackey in a statement released earlier Monday."
"After concluding it had enough evidence for a felony sexual assault charge,
the sheriff's office sought the arrest warrant directly from a judge.
In Colorado, police and sheriff's deputies can arrest someone on suspicion
of a crime but only the district attorney's office can file charges."
內容大概是說警方沒有經過檢察官同意而是直接請法官開出逮捕令
所以Kobe的律師說這整個過程是complete bias
接下來是檢察官對於這個過程的說法
"Hurlbert said he was aware of the case, but didn't know why authorities
didn't request a warrant through his office. Kim Andree, spokeswoman for
the sheriff, said it is not unusual for authorities to go directly to a
judge and she dismissed speculation of a rift between prosecutors and the
sheriff's office."
所以警方辦案的過程也頗另人尋味
不過我想這只是Kobe律師受理案件之後反將警方一軍
湖人方面雖然震驚但是蠻樂觀的
也預期Kobe會在季前訓練營開始前回到湖人
"Despite Bryant's shoulder problems, the Lakers expect he'll be ready by
the start of training camp in October."
對了 如果想知道Kobe為什麼會到科羅拉多
這篇報導也有指出是因為Kobe來這邊接受右膝手術
"Bryant's attorney has said he was in Colorado for surgery on his right knee
at Vail's Steadman Hawkins Clinic."
總之現在還是疑雲重重
不管怎樣
希望事情趕快落幕吧
更希望以後不會發生這種鳥事

這是引述當地一個髮型師所說的話
我真的不希望這件事會毀了他
不過美國人的包容心蠻大的
只要Kobe在球場上成功人們還是會給他掌聲的
