不好意思回舊文, 想請問之前有買機票的LA版友, 是否有人被charge
Foreign Transaction Fee?
我打去CITI問, 他們說是馬航charge的, 他們沒辦法waive掉, 我對citi很失望.
打去馬航的CS, 她給了一個email要我寫信去問處理online order的部門,
我剛才寫信去問了, 大意是說不知道這個是international transaction,
而且其他航空公司也沒這筆fee, 如果他們有回應, 我會再來update 後續.

我寄到[e-mail], 接到[e-mail]回信,

For cross border transaction, you may be charged an additional fee by
your credit card issuing bank, which will be between 0.5%-1.5% on top
of the total online transaction fee. This policy is imposed by certain
banks for cross-border transactions and shall be reflected in your
upcoming credit or statement from your issuing bank. A cross border
transaction occurs when a purchase is made in a currency different from
the credit card used.

For example, a US Dollar credit card is used for Malaysia Ringgit transactions
and vice versa. For more information, please contact your issuing bank.

看來雙方都打算不認帳.

推 soncan:我的是427.xx已經付掉了,除非那筆費用更晚才扣 所以還沒
→ soncan:出現在我上個帳單週期
→ frodolai:我是3/11刷, $427 3/12入帳, 4/8 才出現這個fee
推 ninicole:好像本來就會CHARGE喔 我家買好幾次都有被收費
推 redadol:我也是用Citi, 買的是新航的機票也有被收,打給Citi一樣說
→ redadol:這是因為新航的公司海外, 所以這筆轉帳費用他們不waive,
→ redadol:然後我跟新航說, 他們說他們知道這個情況, 叫我提供信用卡
→ redadol:資料以及有顯示被收這筆費用的statement, 他們會再4~6週內
→ redadol:退回這筆錢給我
