在美國,郵局工作的人員因為憂鬱症自殺或是大屠殺的事件已經不是新聞了.
"Going postal"這個俚語就是形容一個人抓狂暴怒的情形:

從1986年至今全美國至少發生不下20起郵局員工的槍擊事件,奪走了至少40
條以上的人命.  這種現象在台灣是根本無法想像的.
