美語和英語的差異

1. 地區不同 - 英語是英國、澳洲、紐西蘭、南非、印度、香港、新加坡
              美語是美國、加拿大，第二語言：中國、日本、韓國、台灣等。
2. 用詞不同
3. 拼法不同
4. 發音不同 - 台灣人常會覺得是差不多的，實際上差異很大，在美國生活久了，對於
              美語發音的掌握程度提高後，只要電視上一有英國演員或藝人說話，馬
              上可以分辨出來。
5. 句型不同

以在全世界通用的程度而論，美語的主流地位是肯定的，最主要世界各國多是因為美國
而學習英文，而不是因為英國，就以台灣而論，從小到大我們學習的就是美語而不是英
語，無論發音、拼字、句型、用詞都是美語，所以到美國學習美語回台灣最適合，因為
大部分的人從小說的聽的看的，包括電影、影集、電視節目、歌曲都是美語，如果使用
英語會讓人覺得格格不入，此外英國少有外國移民，美國則是各種族的大熔爐。
