So tired!
Today we had a live in Shibuya. We were so full of energy, and when I came
home and jumped in the shower, I thought “Ah….I’m exhausted!”
Lots of different things happened during this series of FLARE lives, but I
think we had a really great final. I felt like there were lots of mistakes
and problems we couldn’t solve, but at the end, it was an amazing feeling.
The FLARE is gradually becoming a real band, isn’t it. The connection
between the band members is growing and turning into a strong groove and an
outpouring of energy. I think that this really reached the audience. Now, a
quick breather and then it’s Earth Day!
Oh yeah, at the live today (yesterday?) there we lots of male fans and
children that I knew. The number of die-hard male fans are increasing, which
makes me somehow happy. And of course I’m happy to see all the women as
usual. But I can’t help but thinking that some of them will stop coming when
they get married. Isn’t that kind of sad?
Children are the ones who hold the future in their hands. We’re all
different than we were in the past and everything evolves and changes so
quickly. 7 or 8 year olds seem to understand everything well. But somehow, I
think that the fans caught hold of all the important things we were throwing.
Aah…so tired. I’m going to bed now.
And by the way, those of you who keep complaining about my smilies, back off!
(laugh) I use pictures[1] and smilies all the time on my cell phone. It’s
totally normal! But today I’m on my computer and it’s a pain to use
smilies, so there aren’t any.
Talk to you all later.

TRANSLATOR’S NOTES:
[1] 絵文字 (emoji) are small cartoon-like pictures that are programmed into
most Japanese cellular phones. Many people use them in place of characters
while they are typing, for example, inserting a graphic of a coffee cup
instead of typing out the characters for “coffee.” They are also used for
emphasis much like emoticons in English.
