Shimokita Night


Today after an interview, I went to see my friend’s R&R band
SCREAMINGSOULHILL perform. It was at Shimokitazawa[1] 251, in honor of their
third record release. Okay, I said “my friend,” but the bass player was
really kenken. (^_^;) It was a really special day. My friend Yatsu’s band
RIZE was there also. And S2H was great too. They were a “BAD R&R” band that
I know I’ll come to love. They’re still a bit unformed but really awesome.
Their message was really deep and transcendental. Definitely a peaceful BAD
R&R band! Their new album is worth a listen! I really respect them! I want to
go head-to-head with them. RIZE also was really great. And by chance, at the
livehouse above, TAKUYA was playing with Jara. I kept going back and forth. I
was really happy to see HAL again for the first time in a really long time!
It was hardcore but a really great night in Shimokita. And great lives too!

Tomorrow is shooting for our music video. I should go to bed because I have
to get up really early. So that’s it for today!
