NEO ASCENSION GROOVE!


Our performance on May 21st at clubasia should be fun! The name of the party
is “NEO ASCENSION GROOVE”!! “Ascension” means “climbing to another
dimension.” Christ’s death and rise to heaven. Moving on to a better place,
a evolution to a new level of consciousness and light. A spiritual groove
telling of an ascension to a new plane, at this momentous turning point in
the stream of time. That’s what we want to talk about. That’s what we want
to create. The sound is based on psychedelic, trance, chill and tribal beats.
An ultra-grooving jam band. That’s the concept of SHAG.

As for the collaboration with COLDFEET and DJMIEKO – I’m sure you all know
COLDFEET by now. Disco tracks with pulsing sexuality. They’re one of a kind!
And I love what DJMIEKO does! She’s something else! She’s minimalist,
spacy, and solid all at the same time. Hot but cool like ice. A blazing pale
flame, that’s her image. Pay attention to her.

And SAMURAI, who should be familiar to all SPANKIES fans, will also be there.
It should be an amazing night. I feel like all of my close friends will be

Sdayan, you’re from Tsurumaki? So am I! Did you know that lately there’s a
great new onsen in Daikon? I haven’t been yet, though. That area’s really
changed, hasn’t it?

Yui, are you thinking of Judo? There’s also shoot boxing. But I don’t
really know anything about Judo.

yuzu, you brought up something that’s a bit painful. I don’t really like
the direction the page in my fanclub newsletter where I introduce my favorite
things has taken. I’ll have to give it some thought.
