Too amazing! Too cool!
Stars Wars Episode III was so awesome!!! I got to go to the premiere!!! I’ve
been waiting so long to see it!!! …It was too amazing and too cool. Really
affecting. I’m sure lots of you haven’t seen it yet so I won’t write too
much. But even though I was obsessed and already knew all of the story and
plot beforehand, it was still amazing!!! And probably bad for my heart.
It was a movie that leaves behind lots of serious feelings. A tragic, heroic
drama full of happiness and sadness alike. A tapestry of family, marriage,
friendship, teacher and student relationships, of anger and distrust. Love
that is too strong and turns into the desire to possess, to control. The
fallen “Chosen One.” The story was full of emotion and really frightening.
Violent and beautiful at the same time. A movie you can’t watch without
crying. Obi Wan’s words in the second half of the movie especially were all
really sad. Padme, too. The whole thing was so amazing for those (like me)
who know way too much and think too much about the world of Star Wars. It’s
amazing that a Star Wars movie could become such profound poetry. If you go
to see it just to be entertained, you’ll be blown away. What a magnificent
drama. And unlike previous Star Wars, probably not appropriate for children.
I went to see it with K-Ta and Chihiro of Electrical LOVERS. After, we were
all filled with excitement. I wonder how many times I’ve relived it in my
mind? For me it was a momentous occasion, and I’m sure I’ll go see it again
and again. Also, [Producer] Rick McCallum came to the premiere, which was
really exciting!
On an entirely different subject, tonight is part of “Candle Night.” [1] My
room is full of candles (although that’s hardly out of the norm). What a
great feeling!
