Unsettled Times
I haven’t written for about two weeks. I don’t really have much to say.
Lately my days have been kind of unsettled. There have been lots of things
that irritate me and things to do (preparation, photo shoots, getting ready
for our next music video, etc). I’ve been really busy with lots of different
things, and my schedule is kind of disorganized so I can’t feel calm. I have
no time to (sad laugh). Somehow I’ve switched into negative mode…Also, I
really hate depending on my car. The traffic is hell and it’s way too hot. I
’m just so tired of it. But as much as I can, I try not to use the air
conditioner in my car. I HATE Tokyo.
But, there have been some good things too. A few days ago I saw the rock
musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” with the members of COLDFEET and was
able to see man I’ve always thought was amazing, Hiroshi Mikami! He’s an
inspired actor, and seeing him for the first time was great. He’s a
wonderful artist. Maybe it’s presumptuous to say so, but I think we’re
alike in a lot of ways. I really respect him! Demi Semi [Quaver] were also
great. I totally recommend them. You’ll be moved!
Also, like Faith said, “Batman Begins” is a really good movie. Very deep. I
really love Tim Burton’s first two Batman movies, but I thought that his
last one (with Mr. Freeze or whatever he was) was awful so I wasn’t really
expecting for much. But it was great. Christian Bale was really good, but the
supporting cast was even better. I think I like it best of all the Batman
movies.
It’s been that kind of time (what kind?) Just busy with work and other stuff
