Taken over by recording


I’ve been holed up in the studio for what seems like forever. We’re
entirely consumed by recording our album, which of course takes a lot of
time. I’ve been doing this for fifteen years, and obviously I love it, but
each time seems somehow harder than the last. I get really impatient when
things don’t turn out like I want them to. I guess I’m more irritable than
I used to be.

At any rate, we’ve already recorded with Shinya, Shinobu-chan, and Jara.
Today was kenken’s part, which was really fun! Still, I feel kind of like a
goldfish that keeps swimming around and around a tiny fishbowl. And my feed
is the same thing day after day so I feel really worn out. But, that’s what
recording is, I guess! Ah, I really want to go to the beach and go swimming…

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the new album! Back I go to recording. I’ve
been doing this job for around fifteen years, and hope I can continue on for
at least fifteen more!
