Last stand?


Prime Minister Fukuda has assumed office amidst some really mixed up
circumstances. Next year, the opposition party will probably push strongly
for the dissolution of the lower house of parliament. No matter what happens,
early dissolution seems inevitable, and the ruling party is probably all too
aware of this. Becoming prime minister at this time seems like nothing but
leftover responsibilities and risks…I really want to shout at Prime Minister
Fukuda, who now stands at the top. Will he truly do his job with sufficient
persuasive power and implement policy to wipe away all the distrust we
citizens have towards the Liberal Democratic Party?

背水の陣?

無茶苦茶な状況の中で首相に就任してしまった福田総理。
来年には野党は衆議院解散に向けて全力で攻め立ててくるだろう。
いずれにしろ早期解散は免れないか?
むしろその状況は与党の皆さんも百も承知だろう。
この時期の首相就任は、スライドされる責任と
あまりにも大きいリスクにまみれている。。。
それを踏まえた上でトップに立った福田総裁に
エールを送りたいとは思うけど・・・、
本当に俺達国民の自民党に対する不信感を
払拭してくれるほどの説得力に満ちた仕事を、政策を
推進してくれるだろうか?
