Australia and other recent activities
It's a bit late to talk about it now, but I went to Australia with JUNO
REACTOR. All sorts of impossible problems arose, and suddenly I alone wasn't
able to perform at the EARTH CORE show I was scheduled to play that very day,
so it turned out that I only played one show.
This trip was actually my first time in Australia – a very memorable first
journey to the Southern Hemisphere! Australia was enjoying some really
pleasant summer weather at the time, and between my wonderful new friends,
the unbelievably huge sky, and all the fans that came, it was a beautiful and
awesome country. I liked it right away.
The overwhelming craziness and insane schedule weren't funny at all and I
didn't know how we'd make it. But in Melbourne, I was able to feel the power
of the place and the people there, which made the short three-day journey one
I'm really glad I took.
JUNO's 2008 tour is now over! We were really active this year and made it
through some really turbulent times…through them, our groove and the bonds
between us grew stronger. I don't know what's going to happen next with the
sounds and intentions we shared all over the world, but I hope we can keep on
dedicating ourselves to them.
Back here in Japan, it's really cold…I hate this kind of weather. I've been
secluded in the studio since last month working on various things, and now
I'm going to take off running full speed towards my solo concert on the 19th.
It's my first solo live under my own name in a while, so I'm really going to
give it my all and I'm sure everyone will have a great time! It's going to be
an explosion of all the things that have crystallized over these past few
years – the things I've taken in and that have evolved within me.
Off to the cosmos we go!

事後報告になっちゃうんだけど、
JUNO REACTORでオーストラリアに行ってきた。
いろいろありえない問題が勃発して、当初出演する予定だった
EARTH COREは急遽俺だけ不参加になっちまって、
結局LIVE一本だけこなしに行ってきた。
じつはオーストラリアは俺初めてだったんだよね。
記念すべき初の南半球！ そこはマジで心地よい夏だった。
素敵な新たな友人達や、どこまでも広い空、
集まってくれたファンのみんなは本当にキレイで、
いい国だったなぁ。
一発で好きになってしまった。
ガタガタの仕切り、いい加減な行程、
マジで冗談じゃない、どうしようもない感じではあったけど、
メルボルンの人達と場のパワーを思いっきり感じられただけで、
たった３日ほどの超スピードな旅だったけど、
本当に行ってよかったよ。
これをもって2008年のJUNOツアーは終了。
今年はかなりアクティヴに動いたなぁ。
相当波瀾万丈をくぐり抜けてきたなぁ。
そしてどんどん俺達のグルーヴと絆は強固なものになってきた。
世界各地で発信してきたその音と意思。
これからどうなるのか？ とにかくまだまだ追求していきたい。
日本に帰ってきたら・・・やっぱ寒いなぁ。イヤだなぁ。
先月からずっともろもろ作業でスタジオに籠ってたんだけど、
これから19日のライヴに向かって全速力で駆け抜けるぜー。
久々のSOLO名義のGIGだから、気合い入りまくってるぜー。
相当いい感じになると思うんで期待していいよ。
ここ数年の俺が吸収してきた、そして進化してきたすべてが
結晶となって爆発するから。
宇宙に行こうぜー。
