Smush Parker is tired. He has tried to push his way through the fatigue, but he
admits he is not winning the battle

Smush Parker 開始感到疲累了,他對於不斷的上場比賽這件事似乎感到有點麻痺了,而他
也承認他還在掙扎中

"I am trying to stay mentally tough," Parker said. "It definitely hasn't been
easy. It's like when mental lapses happen to a player, you're not playing well
because fatigue gets to you. It's like when your coach says, 'Fatigue makes a
coward out of you.' It's gotten the best of me a few times."

Out of necessity, the Lakers have had to play Parker more minutes than he
thought they would have to.

Veteran guard Aaron McKie has been out with a slight tear in his right
quadriceps, and that has made Parker play many minutes.

Parker is averaging 34 minutes per game, a career high. He is averaging a
career high in points (11.5), assists (3.3), rebounds (3.2) and steals (1.71).

佳的表現,平均每場可攻下11.5分,送出3.3次助攻,抓下3.2個籃板,抄截1.71次

The most games he has played in his career is 66, during his 2002-03 rookie
season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But Parker started just 18 games that
season.

新人球季,但是他在那個球季只有18場先發

Parker is the only Laker to have started all 59 games this season.

"The coaches need energy and life out of me," Parker said. "Mentally, it's
tough to do because of the length of the season. I'm not going through the
motions but I am trying to bring consistency. That's what I'm trying to get
better at."

Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Parker got sick about two weeks ago with a
viral infection and has struggled since.

的當時的他跟病魔搏鬥過一陣子

"In his case we anticipated this," Jackson said. "He has never played a full
season in the NBA, where he's had to do the 82 games, let alone play the kind
of minutes that he's playing now. So that's an educational process. We almost
treat Smush like a rookie even though he's not."

"對於他現在的情形是我們之前所預料到的事情" Jackson 針對 Parker的情形這樣說到"他

Jackson says he still believes Parker will be productive.

"I like his spirit," Jackson said. "He's got a competitive attitude. Sometimes
he loses direction out there, purpose. But we're working with that."

方向,但是我們會一起努力渡過的"

While he has trouble catching the ball and has struggled with his footwork,
there is an even bigger issue Jackson is trying to work on.

當他對好好的把球接住仍然有困難,而且為他的上場時間掙扎時,對 Jackson似乎是一個
很嚴重需要去解決的問題

"He lost his confidence," Jackson said. "He hasn't been playing well. But,
physically, I think he's fine."

"他失去了他的信心" Jackson 說 "他似乎沒有打的很好,但是在生理上,我相信他是沒問
題的"

When asked if Brown's confidence goes up and down, Jackson said, "Yeah, yeah."

當問到有關 Brown 信心起伏不定的問題時,Jackson說" yeah,yeah"

"Some of it has to do with the desire to do well," Jackson said. "He brings a
little bit of anxiety to the game. We're trying to get him to relax a little
bit, get into the game and really feel his way."
