[外電] Lakers lose Mihm, game

LOS ANGELES - If they could have just gotten out of the final minute without
incident, the Lakers would have been left with a discouraging loss and the
accompanying question about how any team could shoot 58.8 percent against
them.
如果先不要看最後一分鐘的插曲，最後湖人又一次令人沮喪的輸球，而且隨之而來的問題
是..怎麼可以有球隊能在對到湖人的時候拿下58.8%的投籃命中率？

In other words, the kind of thing that a night on the couch watching "The
Sopranos" might let them forget, at least for an hour. 
換句話說，這種事情可能要讓球員們躺在長椅上看"人在江湖"一整晚才會忘記，最少也要
看一個小時。

But the Lakers' season might have turned along with center Chris Mihm's right
ankle with 48.8 seconds left in their 120-113 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics
on Sunday, and the scene in the locker room afterward reflected it. 
但是湖人接下來的球季將會有變動，因為我們的先發中鋒Mihm在一場以120-113輸給西雅

Mihm suffered a severe ankle sprain - the same injury that kept Kobe Bryant
out a month last season - and hobbled around on crutches and a walking boot
long after his teammates headed home.

But Mihm said he felt something pop in the ankle as he landed on Rashard
Lewis' foot. He went up around the basket as Chris Wilcox threw down a
forceful dunk for the Sonics, and said the swelling started almost
immediately.

Watching Mihm writhing on the court in pain confirmed what was obvious as
early as the first half Sunday: The Lakers (33-31) were right back where they
started after Friday's seemingly breakthrough victory at San Antonio.

They continued their season-long trend of playing down to their competition.
The Sonics came into Sunday's game with a 24-38 record and the dubious
distinction of being the NBA's worst defensive team.

With 4:24 left, Ray Allen beat Bryant into the lane as the Lakers were late
to rotate and help. Mihm fouled Allen as part of a three-point play and
Bryant slammed the ball in dismay.

Bryant later kicked the ball after Wilcox's dunk on the play in which Mihm
was injured and booted the ball again after he missed the first of two free
throws with 43.3 seconds remaining.

After coming to the bench for a timeout, Bryant punched the seat next to him
and sent it toppling. Bryant is shooting 19 of 58 (32.7 percent) the past two
games.

The Lakers let Earl Watson run back at them for a layup after a Bryant dunk
in the fourth quarter and gave up a follow-up basket to Wilcox with 1:09

Sonics with 26.

with second-year center Robert Swift getting out in transition for three
dunks.

How could the Lakers beat Detroit and San Antonio in the same week, then lose
to the Sonics at Staples Center? It was a question for which Lamar Odom had a
simple answer. 
為什麼湖人有辦法在一週內分別擊敗活塞及馬刺，卻又會在主場輸給超音速？
Odom對於這個問題有個很簡單的答案。

"They shot the ball 58 percent," Odom said. "Whenever you play good defense,
you give yourself the opportunity to beat any team. Whenever you play bad
defense, you give yourself the opportunity to lose to any team." 
Odom:"他們的命中率是58%。"
