Fisher puts on a show for family in Lakers' 117-101 win at Memphis

Ark., to see Derek Fisher and the Lakers play the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday
night.

No one in the stands -- and none of the Lakers, either -- probably could have
predicated Fisher would put on this kind of show.

game-high 26 points and pushing the Lakers to a third straight victory, 117-101

It was Fisher's season high -- three points shy of his career high -- and he

All five Lakers starters scored in double figures, giving LA an 8-0 record when
that occurs. The Lakers improved to 12-2 against teams with losing records and
22-11 overall. They led by as many as 26, and their average margin of victory
during the win streak is 21 points.

It was Fisher who got LA started, scoring the game's first five points, pouring
in 13 in the first quarter while making all five of his shots, including three
three-pointers. He didn't miss any of his five attempts from beyond the arc in
the game.

Kobe Bryant, who had 25 points, has been a teammate of Fisher's for nine seasons

The Lakers scored a season-high 39 points in the first quarter, built a 26-point
second-quarter lead and held off Memphis after the Grizzlies cut the lead to 12

Trevor Ariza chased down a long rebound and was fouled with a clear path to the
basket to earn two free throws.
