Solid teamwork leads Lakers past Nuggets, 107-101

DENVER — Derek Fisher looks back on the last Lakers team to have any playoff
success and still doesn't like what he sees in 2004: "We still just didn't
play as a team enough that year to win a championship, even though we made it
to the (NBA) Finals."

小漁夫回顧了一下上一次湖人在季後賽的勝利(2004)，說：「即使我們打到了總冠軍賽，

但我們打得不像一支足夠封王的球隊。」

With big efforts from Kobe Bryant, Luke Walton and Fisher — the only
Lakers who were on that 2004 team — these Lakers broke through Monday night
with their 107-101 victory in Game 4 of their first-round playoff with the
Denver Nuggets. They advanced via impressive sweep — winning games in an
array of ways that were all rooted in teamwork — and they'll carry a flag
together into the next round against Utah or Houston.

在Kobe、藍藍路、漁夫，04年就待在湖人隊的這幾位的努力下，

湖人在第一輪橫掃了對手丹佛金塊隊。

在這個系列賽中，他們靠著團隊合作來贏得比賽。

"We're very fortunate, and I'm very fortunate, to be on a team where
everybody just meshes," Bryant said. "That's really the key — to have that
chemistry. ... It's a big step for our maturity to be able to close."

Pau Gasol in Game 1 and Bryant the rest of the way got most of the points and
the pats on the back, but more than anything else it was team defense that
frustrated the NBA's No. 2 scoring offense that have the Lakers undefeated
this postseason.

Gasol在第一戰拿下全隊最多分，Kobe則是在接下來的比賽中繼續挺身而出。

但他們那打敗全NBA第二會得分的球隊的團隊防守，

才是他們目前在季後賽不敗的最重要原因。

The key play Monday was the Lakers defending Denver's Carmelo Anthony,
whose irritation at not being able to blow by Walton and Vladimir Radmanovic
for uncontested scores was increasingly obvious. With Denver ahead, 96-95, and
3:23 to play, Bryant sank a 21-foot jumper to give the Lakers the lead back.

週一那場比賽的關鍵是湖人對甜瓜的防守。

Walton跟狼人讓甜瓜無法爆發的效應越發明顯。

當比賽剩下3分23秒，丹佛96-95領先時，老大投進了一個21呎跳投讓湖人奪回領先。

Then Fisher came at Anthony from behind, with Walton in the front,
and poked the ball away for a clean steal. At the other end, Walton found
himself unguarded in the right corner — and he capped his big series by
swishing the 3-point shot for a 100-96 lead.

接著漁夫從後面(羞>///<) 藍藍路從前面(更羞>///<)包掉了甜瓜的球。

這是個很乾淨的play!

Anthony bent over at the waist, hands on his knees, overcome by yet
another gut shot from this Lakers team that won all seven games against
Denver this season (three coming in the regular season). The Nuggets became
the first 50-win regular-season team to get swept in the playoffs.

Anthony彎下腰來摸著膝蓋，遲遲無法撫平情緒(被前後包抄的情緒嗎>///<)

湖人在這一季(含例行賽)贏了金塊7場，全部的7場。

金塊成了第一支例行賽取得50勝，卻在季後賽被橫掃的球隊。(是今年西區的錯！)

"We finished that game OK," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said.

禪師說「我們打得還ok。」

Gasol had 21 points, but Fisher and Walton were bigger down the stretch
despite scoring just seven points apiece. Bryant scored 31 points — 14 of
them coming in the last 51/2 minutes.

Gasol得了21分，Fisher跟Walton雖然都只得了7分，但他們的貢獻絕對比帳面上的大。

而老大則是取下了31分，有14分是在最後5分半鐘拿下的。(51/2...害我一開始看不懂)

"He's a great player at the end of the game," Jackson said of Bryant.
"But he needed a team effort to win."

禪師說Kobe在比賽末端打得很棒，但贏球依舊是需要全隊的努力。

The Lakers are slated to face the winner of the Utah-Houston series,
which Utah leads, 3-1, with Game 5 in Houston on Tuesday and a potential
Game 6 in Utah on Friday. Jackson said he believed there was "still some
life" in that series.

湖人接著要對上爵士與火箭的勝隊，爵士目前以3-1領先。

但禪師相信這個系列還有得瞧。

The Lakers went 3-1 against Utah in the regular season, averaging
111 points on 51.8 percent field-goal shooting. Bryant averaged 29.8 points
on 56.3 percent shooting from the field and 55.6 percent on three-pointers.

湖人在例行賽對上爵士是3-1的優勢。平均拿下111分，命中率51.8%。

而Kobe個人在這四場平均則是29.8分，命中率56.3%、三分球命中率55.6%。(好威)



FISH &MAGIC

Fisher is one of five finalists for the Magic Johnson Award,
presented by the Pro Basketball Writers Association to a player who combines
excellence on the court with outstanding cooperation with the media — and by
extension the fans. Chauncey Billups, Manu Ginobili, Brandon Roy and Yao Ming
are the other finalists.

漁夫是最近五個拿下Magic Johnson獎的其中之一。

另外四個是槍蜥、馬妞、Brandon Roy和姚大個。

Here's something Fisher wanted to share with the public: He has noticed
increased intensity from Lakers fans lately, which should make the Lakers'
No. 1 seed more valuable, saying: "It's really made a difference for us. I
don't know if our fans really understand it, but it's something we've talked
about as a team. We've noticed the energy and felt it."

Fisher想對大家說他注意到湖人的粉絲硬起來了。而這讓湖人的第一種子會更加有價值。

他說「這真的讓我們不一樣了，雖然不知道球迷們是否知道。但我們全隊都感覺到

Fisher, the president of the NBA players' association, also got some respect
from referee Joe Forte late in Monday's game. Fisher missed a jumper with the
score tied, 90-90, and quickly lobbied Forte that Allen Iverson had hit his
arm; Forte almost immediately thereafter spotted a moving-screen foul on
Denver's Kenyon Martin to give the Lakers the ball back. The Lakers got
organized immediately, and Fisher set up Bryant for an open 3-pointer, which
he nailed for a 93-90 lead. 

Fisher這位NBA球員聯盟的主席(是喔？)在週一的比賽也得到了裁判的尊重。

Fisher在90平的時候miss了一個跳投。很快的告訴裁判剛剛AI打到他的手了

(好像小孩子告狀^^)

接著裁判立刻判了K-Mart一個犯規將球還給湖人，而結局是Fisher找到了Kobe

射進了一顆空檔三分球　取得93-90的領先。


CLOSEOUT CHALLENGES


The Lakers had a run of 11 consecutive victories in close-out games before
stalling briefly in the 2004 Western Conference finals vs. Minnesota. Then
the Lakers blew three consecutive close-out chances against the Phoenix Suns
in the 2006 playoffs.

Jackson said before the game that the main reason to want to end series
immediately is just to spare the risks involved in sending players out on the
court for more games.

"You obviously want rest time," he said.

湖人在2004西區冠軍戰對上灰狼之前，連續贏了11場結束系列的比賽。
(就是連續在11個系列賽聽牌之後取得勝利)

但他們在2006對上太陽的系列戰聽牌之後連輸了三場。

禪師說，想要馬上結束這個系列賽的最主要原因是想避免讓球員打更多場比賽

所會帶來的風險。(受傷...輸球...blabla)

Denver center Marcus Camby hit a corner 3-pointer for his first points in
nearly two full games to cut the Lakers' lead to 103-101. But Gasol got the
clinching dunk with 22.4 seconds left after Bryant passed to Lamar Odom, who
found Gasol. Bryant stole the ball on the next Denver play. … Anthony, after
he said his team quit in Game 3, had 21 points but never had a sustained run
of dominance in Game 4. … Bryant struggled with Denver reserve J.R. Smith
(26 points), especially in the third quarter.

備註

金塊隊中鋒Marcus Camby在將近兩場比賽中得到的第一分是追成103-101落後的

角落三分球。但在剩22.4秒時，Kobe傳給了Odom...Odom找到了Gasol~扣籃得分！

接著Kobe抄走了金塊隊的球。

Anthony在他G3結束時發表的放棄言論之後，拿到了21分。

但他在這場比賽中從未有辦法維持住他的主宰力。

老大被金塊的候補丁尺搞得很頭痛　尤其是第三節........
