Nalbandian joins Coria on sideline September 11, 2003 BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) -- U.S. Open semifinalist David Nalbandian withdrew from Argentina's Davis Cup semifinal against Spain because of a wrist injury Thursday. Guillermo Coria, ranked fifth in the world, pulled out of Argentina's team Wednesday because of a leg injury. The No. 9-ranked Nalbandian hurt his left wrist during his five-set loss to eventual champion Andy Roddick in the U.S. Open's final four Saturday. Nalbandian, the runner-up at Wimbledon in 2002, won the first two sets against Roddick and had a match point in the third. No replacement was immediately announced for Nalbandian. No. 25-ranked Mariano Zabaleta will replace Coria. Spain will be led by No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, former No. 1 Carlos Moya and 2002 French Open champion Albert Costa.
