Marcelo Rios lost the final match of the singles competition at
the PanAm Games. Fernando Meligeni took the Gold. Rios also lost
the doubles final along with countryman Adrian Garcia. Regarding
a possible retirement, Marcelo said he would make an announcement
"when the time is right."
