Famous Argentine tenor Marcelo Alvarez took time off his busy schedule to meet
with ATP tennis stars during the BNP Paribas Masters in Paris.
Alvarez, who admitted to being a huge tennis fan, had the opportunity to spend
time with some of the biggest stars in tennis, and had a nice and long conversa
tion with some of the players from his homecountry, including Nalbandian and Ca
lleri, who like Alvarez hail from Corboba.
The Argentine tenor has had leading roles on the stages of the world's greatest
opera houses, including Milan's La Scala and London's Covent Garden. And the M
etropolitan Opera has picked Alvarez to star in Franco Zeffirelli's new product
ion of La Traviata.
