邀請了20位 NBA 高級主管、球隊教練以及總經理(包括11位球隊總經理)
對新賽季的冠軍所屬進行了投票預測。
在最後的投票結果中，熱火以巨大優勢位列榜首。
湖人和雷霆分列二、三位。
最終結果，
熱火獲得16張第一選擇投票、1 張第二選擇投票和2張第三選擇投票；
湖人獲得 2張第一選擇投票、10張第二選擇投票和6張第三選擇投票，
雷霆獲得 2張第一選擇投票、6 張第二選擇投票和9張第三選擇投票。
(20位高級主管中有3人只進行了第一選擇投票，沒有進行第二和第三選擇投票)。

16 first-place votes, one second-place vote and two third-place votes;
their Finals foe, Oklahoma City, garnered
