其實這是我們讀書會要的東西，我準備第十五章，可是上次忘了整理共筆
今天和吃飯團很歡樂的回到系館已經8點了......和大家跑到8樓看書~
很歡樂的邊整理族譜邊整理筆記，原本要po在p2的
可是根據可靠情報表示，要賺p幣最好po在ptt~所以我來囉!

SRY(sex-determining region of Y chromosome):
    when it absense gonads develope into ovaries

sex-linked gene:a gene on a sex chromosome
linked genes:genes on the same chromosome

Duchenne muscular dystrophy: 1/3500 of males
    progressive weakening of the musles and lose of coordination
    individuals rarely past their early 20s
    due to the absence of the dystrophin muscle protein
    *the gene on the X chromosome

Hemophilia:sex-linked
    the absence of one or more of the proteins reguired for blood clotting
    bleeding will prolonged because a firm clot is slow to form

Barr body lies along the inside of the nuclear envelope

Down Syndrome
    trisomy 21
    characteristic facial features; short stature; heart defects;
    susceptibility to respiratory infection; mental retardation
    prone to developing leukemia and Alzheimer's disease
    life span shorter than normal
    the frequency of Down Syndrome increases with the age of the mother
    some research points to an age-dependent abnormality in a meiosis check-
    point that normally delays anaphase until all the kinetochores are attached
    to the spindle

Aneuploidy of Sex Chromosomes
    *Y chromosome carries relatively few genes
    *X chromosome become inactivated as Barr body in somatic cells
    XXY:1/2000(Klinefelter syndrome) males only
       testes are abnormally small
       the man is sterile
       some breast enlargement and other female body characteristics are common
    XYY:males only
       only tend to be somewhat taller than average
    XXX:1/1000
       can't be distinguished from XX females
    XO:1/5000(Turner syndrome)
       phenotypically female, but sterile because their sex organs don't mature
       providen with estrogen replacement therapy, they do develop secondary
       sex characteristics
       *only known viable monosomy in humans

cri du chat(cry of the cat)
    deletion in chromosome 5
    mentally retarded; small head; unusual facial features
    has a cry that sounds like the mewing of a distressed cat
    usually die in infancy or early childhood

Chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML)
    a large portion of chromorsome 22 with a small fragment from a tip of chro-
    mosome 9 produces a much shortened, easily recognized chromosome 22, called
    the Philadelphia chromosome
