Garbage, Lit Enroll For Third Campus Invasion Tour
Garbage, whose video for "Special" is
nominated for a 1999 Video Music
Award, will be heading back to
school in October, along with the
Southern California rockers of Lit, for
MTV's newest Campus Invasion tour.
The third installment of the
collegiate-oriented concert series will
hit more than 20 U.S. campuses over
a six-week period. A full itinerary,
including specific dates and venues,
will be announced shortly.
Garbage will use the Campus
Invasion tour as a means to wind
down this leg of it 25-country world
tour. The Invasion outing will also
feature a variety of other music and
lifestyle oriented activities inside the
roving MTV village.
Meanwhile, modern rock radio
darling Lit is in the midst of its own
world tour, which recently took them
to Europe to play at the U.K.'s
prestigious Reading Festival.
