Variety of formats planned for Melissa Etheridge album
Rocker Melissa Etheridge's first
album in four years, Breakdown
(Oct. 5), will contain 11 tracks:
"Breakdown," "Angels Would Fall,"
"Stronger Than Me," "Into the Dark,"
"Enough of Me," "Truth of the
Heart," "Mama I'm Strange,"
"Scarecrow," "How Would I Know,"
"My Lover" and "Sleep." The album
will be available in a variety of
formats, an Island Records
spokesperson said. A limited-edition
CD available by preorder will feature
different artwork and three additional
songs: "Touch and Go," "Cherry
Avenue" and "Beloved." The vinyl
version will feature 10 artwork
inserts, along with a 7-inch single
featuring "They Don't Know Me,"
which also will be available on the
"Angels Would Fall" CD single, due
Aug. 31.
