這是我最近最喜歡的一張片子，
Island record company 在成立四十週年的時候，
發行了不少張的 Anthology，Marianne Faithfull 是其中一張，
買的時候是基於好奇，但是真的很不錯聽；
這張雙 CD 專輯選錄了她從 1979-1995 的歌曲，
其中包括三張她最棒的專輯，
另外加上一些之前沒有發行過的歌或者是 B-side，
AMG 說，基於以上種種理由，這是一張很棒的選輯；
至於我自己的感覺，
嗯，很好聽，有些詞還真的蠻發人深省的，
像是 Ballad Of A Soldire's Wife，
而有些情歌非常感人，像是 As Tears Go By，
她的 vocal 很低沈、很憂鬱，有些像 Tom Waits 的女聲版，
AMG 歸類樂風為：Adult Alternative Pop/Rock, Cabaret，
我覺得這張很好聽，可以當作聽 Marianne Faithfull 的入門吧。
