Live performances from folk singer Beth
Orton, blues-rocker PJ Harvey and dance
groups Morcheeba and the Freestylers will
be featured on Morning Becomes Eclectic,
due Sept. 7 from Mammoth Records. The
disc comprises performances from Nic
Harcourt's radio show of the same name on
the Los Angeles National Public Radio
station KCRW-FM. Also on the CD are
singer/songwriters Lyle Lovett and Joe
Henry, electronic popsters Buffalo
Daughter and pop-rock acts Semisonic,
Mercury Rev, Cake, and Ednaswap.
