前幾天 alt.music.alternative.female 討論區上有一個 thread，
標題叫做 Lilith Fair Ending is Bullshit!!!
第一篇文章是罵 Sarah McLachlan 的，
說 Lilith Fair 已經不是她一個人的事情了，
她怎麼可以因為自己沒空照顧這個 concert 就把它終結，
接下來就有人附和，說，對啊，這又不是 Sarah McLachlan 之 Lilith Fair
另外一人說，是這樣沒錯，
但是請看前例，Lollapalooza (all man) 在別人接手後死得多慘，
所以結束是明智之舉
此時有人說他從來就不喜歡 Lilith Fair 的概念，
他說現在 Women In Music 受打壓的情況已不如往常，
Lilith Fair 只是把 Women In Music 這個族群跟一般音樂界隔離起來，
根本無助於 Women In Music 的地位的提升
他覺得 Lilith Fair 若是出現在六零還是七零年代，那才有些道理
接著有人附和他的意見
他說，因為 Lilith Fair 是一個很盛大的音樂祭，
很多承包演唱會的經紀人就會說，
女藝人有 Lilith Fair 這個表演舞台就夠了，
所以我們舉辦的演唱會就不用邀請女藝人了，
三十年前 Woodstock 音樂祭中上台表演的女藝人比今年還多（今年才三個）

我覺得這個討論很有意思，
一個提供女性藝人表演機會的舞台，同時也扼殺了在其他舞台的表演機會...
