我想讓使用者可以設定一些很簡單的密碼
ex: 123
但 redhat 不讓使用者設定這麼簡單的密碼
請問要如何修改設定

可以吧!只是它限定要6個character以上
八個以下,上限之後可以調,像我就設123456就可以
so是你123太短了吧!你試試多一點看看

引述 /usr/doc/pam-0.XX/html/pam-6.html 檔案內的一段文字:
minlen=N - The minimum acceptable size for the new password plus one.
In addition to the number of characters in the new password,
credit (of +1 in length) is given for each different kind of
character (other, upper, lower and digit).
The default for this parameter is 9 which is good for a old
style UNIX password all of the same type of character but may
be too low to exploit the added security of a md5 system.
Note that there is a pair of length limits in Cracklib
itself, a "way too short" limit of 4 which is hard coded in
and a defined limit (6) that will be checked without
reference to minlen. If you want to allow passwords as short
as 5 characters you should either not use this module or
recompile the crack library and then recompile this module.
所以說，你的要求，需要手動改一下 crack 這個 library 的原始碼，
把基本的這個長度限制改小一點就可以解決了 :)
至於密碼太 easy，都是透過 pam 機制丟出來的， so.....
請讀一下 pam 裡面的文件吧 :()
