我的modem還是上不去......hinet
我用了
linuxconf
netconf
netcfg
xisp
usernet
都試過了 基本上已經連接上modem了
而且也在撥號了
但是撥完號 就沒動靜了
我嘗試用netscape 和telnet上網
都不行......
似乎 別人沒法上網 都只是前期的設定沒設好 .....好像沒人是撥完後就掛掉的

建議用 minicom 等程式試是手工連接﹐看看問題卡在哪裡了﹖如果您使用 手工連接能
最終看到那一堆 ppp 的垃圾﹐那麼可能是您在前面的程式沒設定好了。同時﹐看看
/var/log/messages 說了些什麼話﹖

1、開機 login 時
Could not look up internet address for toshich.
This will prevent GNOME form opearating correctly.
It may be possible to correct the file /etc/hosts
/etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhoast local......
2、tail -f /var/log/messages When run netcfg
ifup-ppp:pppd started for ppp0 on /dev/modem at 57600
pppd2.3.7 started by root uid 0
serial connection established using interface ppp0
connect :ppp0 <-->/dev/modem
LCP :timeout sending config-requests
Connection term inated
connect time 0.6 minutes
Receive Serial link is not 8-bit clean
Problem :all had bit 7 set to 0
exit
