What is RC ? > <02. 什麼是鋼體模擬器? > : RC is an software equipped with physics engine . RC 是一套擁有物理引擎的軟體. : Models(.txt .rcd) and Maps(.x) can be made by your own hand ! 模型(副檔名.txt .rcd)以及地圖(副檔名.x)可以自行製作! : Your own models show you their own action , manuver and performance . 你自己的模型可以擁有自己的行為模式,機體動作以及性能 : Sometimes you might take a walk , explore a map , race with someone , or fight with someone . 你可以走路.探索地圖,與某人賽車,或者與某人對抗 : There are some EDITOR which enables you to build a model easily . 我們有一些編輯器可以讓你在製作機體時變的容易. : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ : < 03. Network attention > < 03. 網路注意事項 > : RC is equipped with NetworkMode , but this mode request you MANNERS and MORALS . RC 有網路模式,但這個模式需要你的禮節以及品行. (大概是要說必須有禮貌吧) : Especially in the server "rigidchips.orz.hm" , manners and morals are needed. 尤其是在"rigidchips.orz.hm"這個伺服器裡,以上兩者是必須具備的. : { a. JOINING ERROR } {a. 遊戲加入錯誤} : Sometimes you can't join a server , and sometimes the joining is cut off . 有時你不能加入一個伺服器,或者有時遊戲斷線. : It isn't human work , don't worry . 這並不是人為的疏失,別擔心. : But it is caused by COMPATIBILITY among players' NETWORK ENVIRONMENT . 造成的原因是來自於複雜的使用者網路環境. : Some people say that the problem is caused by FIREWALL , ROOTERS , or the other SOFTWARES which have to do with NETWORK . 有些人認為這些問題發生的原因是因為防火牆,路由器,或是其他佔用網路資源的軟體所 造成. : It sometimes causes errors with sending messages({d.}) . 有時候會造成訊息的傳遞錯誤. : At least , as long as I heard , UNLOCKING the PORT and STOPPING "NortonPersonalFirewall" brought success . 至少,就我所知關閉"諾頓個人防火牆"以及解除其對一些PORT 的封鎖能使連線成功 : The mechanism isn't completely proved now , so please join another server or port ... 在程式結構方面,目前並沒有一個完美的解決方案,所以請加入其他的伺服器或PORT 吧. : { b. YOUR NAME } { b. 你的名字 } : All RC players cannot know one player named "Player" with WHITE ICON from the other one . 所有的RC 玩家並不能知道用"Player"這個名稱上線的玩家位置,因為大家都是白色的. : So please take use own HANDLENAME at least . 所以請手動打個名字吧. (我記得可以換顏色...) : { c. LANGUAGE } { c. 語言 } : The ONLY COMMON LANGUAGE is ENGLISH . 唯一通用的語言是英文. (不過似乎打中文也沒關係) : Tiwanese computers cannot show Japanese on your monitor , and Japanese ones cannot show Tiwanese . 台灣的電腦不能顯示日文,而日本的電腦不能顯示中文. (裝櫻花輸入法就好啦笨蛋) : If you want to communicate internationally , please use English . 如果你想溝通,請用英文. : { d. ERRORS with SENDING MESSAGE } { d. 訊息傳遞時的錯誤 } : The capacity of network about sending data is limited , and RC use much of that . : For this reason , if you were using a model which has almost 50 or over "Chips" often causes a MESSAGE SENDING ERROR . : So , if you want to talk with someone , please use "small" models . : But sometimes for the reason of {a.} , messages can't be sent . : If there is a wall of language , players try to communicate with each other , I hope . : So please not to be depressed , and send the message "Can you hear me ?" : Somenoe will give you an answer , if there is no errors . : { e. NETWORK WEIGHT with SMALL BULLETS } : In all servers , NETWORK WEIGHT is the LARGEST problem . : It is caused by TOO MANY and TOO SMALL BULLETS . : In the most cases , the parameters "OPTION" of "ARM"Chips(guns in RC) : are smaller than 50000 . : Such ARM has LITTLE DAMEGE to targets and HARD TO KILL ONLY ONE "Chip". : To avoid network weight , the "option"s should be set OVER 50000 . : When you set "option"s over 50000 , you'll feel the firing rate is slow . : But , don't worry ! : I'll give you some examples of "ARM" power . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 50000 can kill "Frame" with 1 bullets . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 50000 can kill "Chip" with 2 bullets . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 100000 can kill "Chip" with 1 bullets . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 200000 can kill "JET","WHEEL","RLW", : and "ARM" with 1 bullets . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 1600000 can kill "Weight" : whose "option" is 1 with 1 bullets . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 12800000 can kill "Weight" : whose "option" is 8 with 1 bullets . : Moreover , the firing rate canbe improved by MECHANISM . : The "ARM" whose "option" is 100000 can shoot almost 1.5 bullets in 1 second . : If you want to shoot 9 bullets , add 5 "ARM"s . : And give each "ARM" another VALUES as "power" and build SCRIPT or LUA . : You'll get an weapon which is able to shoot 9 bullets in one second ! : (The mechanism can be found on the Internet , so I don't write on this TXT .) : { f. MEANINGLESS SHOOTING } : But , you see . : If you could get a "rapid firing gun" , : you WEREN'T allowed to fire IN A SELF-SERVING MANNER . : Please fire when you get targets in the sight , taking care of network weight . : { g. SELFISH ATTACK } : However , in port "2345" and "51234" (or in another server) , : many people don't want to be hit WITHOUT ANY MESSAGE . : If you want to fight with someone , please declare war on the person , : and receive message , : then it is judged you can fire or not . : Sometimes , you have a test on your arms . : In that case , please take care of another players and : try to keep your firing time short . : In another case that you hit by someone without any message , : please don't fire at moment . : It may often be accident , so those who hit you will say "SORRY" . : But sometimes , it can be a spiteful attack . : In that case , in the beginning , please communicate with the criminal . : If there is no answer , please wait . : Meaningless fights always bring meaningless network weight . : It is normal to be angry with such evil attack . : I can understand such mind state . (I sometimes meet such attack .) : One of ways to avoid such attack is changing your models equipped with NO ARMS . : You'll get invincible defense ! : Nevertheless , if you are still angry with : such attack and want to defeat the criminal , : please strike back in port "37564" or ANOTHER server : EXCEPT port "2345" and "51234" : and the other "peaceful" server ... : { h. HOW to FIND "NETWORK KILLER" ? } : It's a simple way . : If you feel your RC came to slow , look around . : Then , probably you'll see VERY SMALL LINE OF BULLETS : or model which is SCATTARING bullets . : Such behavior is ONLY AN TROUBLE for ALL USERS . : In such case , please stop him (or her) by communication . : But the communication can usually be failed ... : If he (or her) don't stop it , : many people should be put into a fatal situation ... : and I can't guess what happens ... : { i. "Scenario" CHECK BOX } : You can find "Scenario" check box in the upper rightside of "Network" window . : In RC world , players can't fight when each other is using another "Scenario" . : When you CHECKED THE BOX "Scenario" , : default "Scenario" or one you opened is turned on : and bullet which was shot by the other player : who is using another "Scenario" or not using one . : However , there is a cheat "INVINCIBLE DEFENCE" caused by : difference of "Scenario" . : The cheat is as follows . : 1. "A" put check on the check box while "A" is not set to shoot . : 2. When "B" stopped shooting , "A" turn off the "Scenario" and start to shoot . : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ : RigidChips is so liberal world , but I'm sure that you know "FREEDOM requests you REPONSIBILITY ." : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ : < 04.
