AL.NA承認在資格賽中有ghost的行為

In a post on Reddit today, George “Zekent” Liu has admitted that Absolute
Legends’ North American team cheated in an online qualifier for a live
qualifier for Season Three.

在一個Reddit串中，George "Zekent" Liu承認AL.NA在一個線上的資格賽中作弊。

In a practice known as “ghosting”, the team viewed Team Dynamic’s
movements due to an oversight in game creation. This allowed them to spectate
the game as it was happening, letting an outside source view the game and
relay information to the players.

這是一個被稱作"Ghosting"的行為，AL.NA利用一個全知的視角去觀察TD的動向。
他們藉由一個不在遊戲內的人去觀戰他們的對戰並且把情報洩漏給AL.NA。


While this likely wasn’t a perfect 1:1 ghost due to Spectator Mode’s three
minute delay, the fact the game had multiple pauses and disconnects may have
allowed the spectator to gain better understanding of key elements.

當然這看起來不是一個完美的Ghosting，畢竟觀察者模式有三分鐘的延遲。但是
當時遊戲裡有好幾次暫停和斷線，這可能會讓觀察者更快的觀察到一些關鍵的事
件。


Absolute Legends was competing for third place in an online tournament for
the chance to play live at another event for a spot in Season Three. The
second and third place teams would receive invitations here, as the winners
of this qualifier (Quantic Gaming) had already received a way to the live
tournament through another event.

AL.NA當時正在爭奪一個線上賽事的第三名，這會讓他們有機會參與另外一個賽事
以爭取S3的出賽席位。這個賽事的第二名和第三名會獲得邀請得以競爭S3的出賽席
位，因為這次賽事的冠軍Quantic Gaming已經在別的賽事中得到資格了。


Liu posted an announcement in order to apologize:

After this first game, we chose to knock out the spectator option to prevent
the temptation.

We are sincerely sorry to TD and hope that this doesn’t affect peoples’
 views on LoL as an e-sport.

[UPDATE 24/12/2012 3:15AM]: A source has provided us with a second screenshot
that occurred after the above pause; it depicts players quite literally
asking for opponents’ positions and potential directions. We will be
awaiting a statement from Absolute Legends management and will update as
details become available.

[UPDATE 2]: It appears that Cruz “Cruzerthebruzer” Ogden was disconnected
from the game, and was the result of the pauses. The unedited screenshots
show him as disconnected from the Skype chat as these activities were going
on; it’s likely that Ogden may have had nothing to do with the ghosting, and
recent tweets seem to suggest as much.

更新2：看起來Cruz "Cruzerthebruzer Ogden"從遊戲中斷線，這也是暫停的原因。
從未編輯過的截圖可以看到他同時也從skype斷線，但這些行為依然在繼續，看起來
Ogden可能和這次的Ghosting行為無關，從一些最近的tweets也可以導出相同的結論。

Hello, I'm part of the aL executive board, I handle the Dota 2 side of things
but since I'm pretty much the only one awake at this hour I find the
situation in dire need of a reply.
I can 100% assure you that we do not tolerate this kind of behaviour and we
will get an official statement out as soon as our general manager is on and
has had the time to study the situation in depth, although what happened
seems to be rather crystal clear and will not in any way be tolerated.

嗨，我是AL管理階層的一員，雖然我是負責Dota2的部份，現在看起來我是唯一一個還
醒著的人，我認為現在迫切的需要回應這個事件。
我可以100%跟各位保證，我們絕不會容許這樣的行為發生，我們會在總經理上線並且
花一些時間深度了解這次的事件後提出一個官方聲明。雖然目前看起來發生的事一清
二楚，這樣的行為我們絕對不會容忍。
