Team Dynamic Leaves Sponsor, Emerges As “Good Game University”
The players formerly known as Team Dynamic have parted ways with their parent
organization. They have also announced that they will be reforming with the
same roster under the banner of “Good Game University” to compete in the
upcoming League of Legends season.
“I would like to say that we did not leave Team Dynamic out of hatred for
the organization or the people working for it,” said Sam “Hexo” Bouchard,
the team’s manager. “We would also give a big enormous thank you to Team
Dynamic for supporting us and we had a great run with them and we appreciate
everything they did for us.”
“We mainly decided to part ways with Team Dynamic to open the door for many
other opportunities for our team to grow such has a major sponsor or more
freedom going on our own and making our own organization.”
Team Dynamic had been with the organization since April of 2012, after being
acquired from the Monomaniac organization. While the team was not formally
contracted by the Dynamic organization, there was an amicable agreement to
have the team compete under the name. Earlier this month they had announced
the acquisition of two new members to round out their squad, as well.
For now, the newly-christened GGU will be searching for sponsors, or possibly
growing under their own brand.
“If we do decide to keep going under GGU the team will take every decision
as a group and it will also give us more freedom,” Bouchard said. He insists
that since the team is usually on the same page, decisions will not be hard
to come to a consensus about.
