: Coming out of the Season 2 World Championships, Gambit fans will be
: somewhat disappointed as they ended up dropping out of the tournament
: with an unexpected loss to the Taipei Assassins. The only positive
: thing to come out of this for them would be that the Taipei Assassins
: ended up winning the entire tournament.
        在第二季冠軍賽的結果出爐之後，Gambit的粉絲們感到失望，
        再看到他們最後在意料之外輸給了台北暗殺星。
        對他們來說最正面事情是台北暗殺星最後拿到了總冠軍。

: This season has been a rather crazy time for a Gambit fan, as they saw
: Edward depart, Gambit win IEM Katowice against the Koreans and more.
: When the LCS kicked off on the 7th of February earlier on this year,
: many people though that Gambit were going to wipe the floor with the
: rest after overcoming Azubu Blaze, Frost and Fnatic to take the 1st place
: prize in Poland.
        這季對Gambit的粉絲來說是瘋狂的一季，當他們看到Edward離隊，
        Gambit在IEM Katowice贏了韓國隊伍等等。
        當LCS在今年2月7號開始的時候，很多人都覺得Gambit會在他們
        打敗Azubu Blaze、Forst跟Fnatic拿到波蘭冠軍之後取得極大的優勢。

: The Road So Far:
: In the Spring Split, Gambit finished in second place with a record of 21-7,
: securing their spot in the Summer Split. In the Spring Play-offs, they
: managed to finish second yet again, losing to Fnatic in a best of 5 finale.
: In the next Split, they were to finish with a record of 15-13, which meant
: a 4 way tie was in place. Because of this, they ended up playing deep into
: the night where they lost to EG meaning they would finish 4th. With only a
: week till play-offs, the time had come for all the European teams.
        到目前為止：
        在春季賽的時候，Gambit最後以21-7的成績拿到了第二名，
        確保他們能夠打進夏季賽。在春季季後賽他們又拿到了第二名，
        在最後一場Bo5輸給了Fnatic。在夏季賽的最後，他們的成績是15-13，
        結果有四支隊伍的成績一樣。因為這樣，他們最後比到深夜，
        直到他們輸給了EG，而他們拿到了第四名。
        一個星期之後就是季後賽，所有歐洲隊伍都要面對的重大時刻。

: Because of their 4th seed, Gambit were set to face Ninjas in Pyjamas in the
: first round. The winner would then go through to face the number 1 seed,
: Lemondogs. Gambit won the game against NiP 2-0 and progressed to face
: Lemondogs who had picked up their game in recent weeks. In a tense best of 3,
: Gambit lost to Lemondogs 2-0 which meant they were in a best of 3 against EG.
: In the end, Gambit took the series 2-1 which meant that only 1 of the teams
: that finished 3rd/4th at last year's World Championships would be present this
: time.
        因為他們是第四種子，Gambit在第一回合面臨的對手是Ninjas in Pyjamas。
        贏家接著要面對的是第一種子：Lemondogs。
        Gambit 2-0贏了Nip，接下來的對手是連續好幾個禮拜都沒輸過的Lemondogs，
        在緊湊的Bo3之中，Gambit 2-0輸給了Lemondogs，
        所以他們在接下來的Bo3中必須面對的是EG。
        最後，Gambit拿到了2-1，這表示在去年冠軍賽拿到3/4名的兩隻隊伍，
        只有他們一隊進了今年的世界冠軍賽。

: Edward, Darker & Voidle
: When it was announced that Edward would be departing Gambit, many fans were
: extremely confused and were unsure why this change would ever happen. When
: it was revealed that Edward had given an ultimatum stating that he would
: only stay if Genja was kicked, Darien intervened and said that he would
: leave as well if Genja was kicked. This made it a clear choice for the
: rest of Gambit as it is much easier to replace 1 player instead of 2.
: The real question behind all of this is whether or not it was for the
: greater good. From the weeks we saw Darker, he wasn't particularly
: impressive which gives reasoning for his departure so early on. After
: that they recruited Voidle who has been improving as of late. The problem
: that I see is that they need Genja to either change his attitude towards
: his supports or else they'll keep coming and going leaving them with a
: fairly unstable team which lacks chemistry between the AD Carry and Support
: which is arguably the most important synergy in the game.
        當Edward發佈了他將要離開Gambit的聲明的時候，
        大多數的粉絲陷入極端困惑，還有不確定為什麼竟然會發生這種事。
        當大家看見Edward的最後聲明說沒有Genja的話他才會留下來的時候，
        Darien介入而且表示如果Genja離開的話他也會走。
        這給了Gambit一個清楚明瞭的選擇，換一個人比換兩個人簡單。
        在這背後真正的問題是，無論如何這是為了讓Gambit更好。
        在這之後的幾個禮拜，我們發現Darker不是那麼令人印象深刻，
        這是他為什麼那麼快就離開的理由。
        在這之後，他們找了正在進步中的Voidle。
        對我來說真正的問題是他們需要Genja改進他對Support的態度，
        不然就是一直更換他們的support，這樣他們會變成一個不穩定的隊伍，
        AD Carry和Support之間沒有默契，而下路在遊戲中是最需要合作的一路。

: Strengths and Weaknesses:
: If you were to ask a random solo queue player who's the best or worst in
: Gambit, they would most probably say that Genja is the worst and that
: Alex Ich is the best. No doubt. They mainly say this because of the circle
: jerk surrounding Genja and his interesting builds in games, mainly stacking
: AD instead of buying Attack Speed. What was shown recently, in his Grilled
: interview with Thoorin, was that he tends to pick things that let Alex Ich
: or Diamond carry.
        優點和缺點：
        如果你是問在一個隨機的Solo Q中，誰是Gambit最好或最差的？
        最有可能的答案是Genja是最爛的，Alex Ich是最棒的。
        不解釋。
        在大家眼中最主要的原因是Genja自我感覺良好*和他有趣的購物原則，
        拼命地堆攻擊力而不買任何攻速裝。
        最近他在跟Thoorin的訪談說他之所以買那些裝備是
        為了讓Alex Ich和呆萌carry他。

        *不太確定這邊the circle jerk surrounding Genja是什麼意思

: Another key to Gambit's game will be Darien. For most fans he is essentially
: the backbone to the team as although he tends to feed in most games, he will
: ALWAYS come back into the game and be a mean machine. Most people will think
: , "Oh he doesn't ward, what an idiot" whereas the reasoning is that he WANTS
: the enemy to focus him so that his teammates can have some peace in their
: respective lanes. As well as that, in the Season 2 days, Darien was one of
: the most, if not, scariest top laners meaning that if he manages to pick up
: his form again, Gambit will be even more terrifying as a team. Because of
: how he showed himself in the previous season, it meant that he was always
: going to be focused. Genja speaks about it in his Grilled interview and
: describes Darien as "unique" which is why it'd be near impossible to find
: somebody who is similar.
        Gambit的另外一個關鍵是達理安。對大多數的粉絲來說，
        他是整支隊伍的支柱，雖然他老是在大多數的比賽裡頭養肥敵人。
        但是他總是會扳回劣勢然後變成流氓。
        大部份的人都會想說：「他都不插眼，真是個智障。」
        但是真正的理由是，他想要敵人把注意力放在他身上，
        他的隊友就可以有更安全的對線期。
        因為如此，在S2時候，達理安是最可怕的上路玩家，
        如果他能夠再次進化成完全體*，Gambit會變成比現在更可怕的隊伍。
        正因為他在S2的表現是這樣，這讓他總是成為大家的目標。
        Genja在訪談中有提到，他說達理安是很獨特的，
        所以幾乎不可能找到一個跟他相似的人。

        *這邊我想應該是讓達理安選到他該選的角色之類的？

: Player To Watch: Alex Ich
: The player to watch for Gambit Gaming is their Mid laner, Aleksei "Alex Ich"
: Ichetovkin. Alex Ich has been the front of the Moscow Five/Gambit Gaming team
: for a while now as he's the most represented, appearing in most of their
: interviews, sponsor pictures and more. I've chosen him as the player to
: watch as he's one of the most innovative Mid players in the current scene
: and he will most likely continue to pick out new champions to play at Mid.
: For example, back at the Season 2 World Championships, he was drawing Evelynn
: bans shortly after her re-work as he had picked it once and completely white
: washed his opponents in that game.
: After securing their spot in the World Championships at Gamescom a few weeks
: ago, Alex Ich collapsed showing how much hard work they'd put in to get there.
: In order to get far this time, they will need to do the same, if not more.
        Gambit的注目選手是他們的中路：Alex Ich，Aleksei "Alex Ich" Ichetovkin
        Alex Ich一直都是M5/Gambit的門面，最常代表他們出現，
        也出現在大多數的訪談，贊助商的圖等等。
        我決定選他是因為他是目前最有創新玩法的中路玩家之一，
        他一直有在在中路選一些新的角色來用。
        舉例來說，回到S2冠軍賽，他讓重做的Evelynn在他拿出來用，
        而且獲得壓倒性勝利之後被短暫地列入Ban角名單中。
        幾個禮拜前，在他們在Gamescon成功獲得冠軍賽的資格之後，
        Alex Ich告訴大家他們到底多認真讓他們拿到這個資格。
        為了這次能夠走得更遠，他們必須要做一樣的事情。


: Predicted Placing:
: This is a tough one as Gambit are very hit and miss nowadays. If they bootcamp
: like the old M5 line-up, they should be able to get a podium finish but if they
: come to Worlds like it's just a regular LCS week, they'll struggle to get out
: of the groups. Last time they were able to get past the Chinese team, iG, but
: were stopped by TPA meaning they have had their fair bit of experience against
: the Asian teams. I'm putting my money on them finish very high or low. By this
: I mean they will either do really well or they'll just do terribly by their
: standards.
        預測：
        這是一件困難的事情，因為Gambit的情況是大起大落。
        如果他們像以前的M5一樣集訓的話，他們應該能夠站上頒奬台。
        但是如果他們像LCS常規賽一樣打冠軍賽的話，
        他們會在小組賽裡頭掙扎，想辦法爬出來。
        上一次他們可以通過中國隊伍iG的考驗，但是被TPA阻止了。
        但是這可以理解因為他們對抗亞洲隊伍的經驗不多。
        我把錢壓在他們名次很前面不然就是很爛上，
        我的意思是他們不是打得非常好，就是打得像他們之前糟糕的水準一樣。
