thousand of this gem were ever produced. The last remaining
deadstock is now available exclusively through lomo

Features
Classic constructionThe T981 is cast in hefty matte-finished
metal, and feels very serious in your hands indeed. It’s
design is reminiscent of pre-1950’s vintage rangefinders,
and it features silky-smooth controls and dials throughout.
Yasuhara 50/2.8Your T981 includes the gorgeous Yasuhara 50/2.8
lens. It’s multicoating insures contrasty and color-bursting
images, and its fast maximum aperture allows for stunning
portraits and low-light work.
Leica ScrewmountAll lenses designed for the standard Leica
screwmount will work with the T981. This gives you access to
an enormous treasure trove and new and second-hand optics.
Outside of Leica, excellent lenses were also produced by
Voightlander, Canon, Fed, Zorki, and countless others. With a
little legwork, you can easily amass your own system of fierce
optics.
LED-guided exposureCamera operation is effortless and elegant.
First off, set a projected shutter speed and aperture. Point
at your subject and focus via the brightline rangefinder.
In the left side of your viewfinder, small LED lights will
appear to guide you. A “+” means that the image is too
bright, and you’ll have to either have to increase your
shutter speed or stop down your aperture. A “-“ means that
the image needs more light. And an “o” means that you’re
right on. After a bit of practice, you can fire off shots in
rapid fire succession.
Long Exposure CapabilityA “Bulb” setting allows you to hold
the shutter open for as long as you like. A tripod thread,
standard cable release thread, and self timer give you
several options for perfect, shake-free long exposures.
3 Month Limited WarrantyYour Yasuhara camera is protected
against any manufacturer defects for three months after your
receipt of the item.
