Reticent Farewell

Written in front of International Building
At 9:39 pm June 17,05’
Finished at 2:16 am June 18, 05’

Being left alone in the dark
Watching the lonely martial art practitioner
In slow motion

The solitude, the silence
Permeating between the two

Knowing each other’s existence
But intentionally neglecting the knowing

The repulsion is too strong to pull
Two acquainted souls together

Even the repulsion itself
Is too repulsive
To know the reason

At the night of farewell
There are no words for goodbye.

The best  is to keep reticent,
Pretending both not having stayed
in the same place at the same time.
