.Cuddyer is swinging pretty well.
Since late August, when Koskie and Rivas both went down, Cuddyer has
been given a shot to play regularly. It appears consistent playing
time on a daily basis gets him into a groove as he hits .286/.375/.464
with 3 home runs in the span.
He's also been playing decent defense at both second and third base,
clearing some concerns over his glove.
Since Gardy usually tends to go with the hot hand, I'm hoping Cuddy
would still hold the starting job even after Rivas comes back.

.Fight for postseason rotation spot
It makes sense for the Twins to go with a 3-man rotation in the best-
of-five ALDS. But who'd you rather send to the mound following our
one-two punch? The hard-throwing sinkerballer? The young hurler that
has been ineffective for almost the entire season? Or the 41-year-old
rubberarm southpaw?
I think Silva is the better bet, for he has been quite durable and
has performed consistently as of late. That being said, I won't mind
if Lohse keeps up his late-season surge to compete for the #3 spot.
As for Mulholland, I see him more valuable as a left-hander coming
out of bullpen.
