雙城簽下紅人隊的內野手 Juan Castro，
長度是兩年 + 07 年的球團選擇權，金額尚未透露。
Castro 現年 32 歲，十年生涯打擊成績是.226/.269/.331，
是一位超級內野工具人，若從 BP 提供的防守數據來看，
他在二、三、游的防守大約在平均值左右。
這擺明就是和 Nick Punto 還有 Augie Ojeda 半斤八兩，
年紀還比較大呢！簽小聯盟約再邀請他參加春訓就行了，
簽兩年約是什麼意思？最好金額不要太高，不然我會吐血。
好吧！可以預見明年春訓時 Bartlett、Punto、Ojeda、Castro
將一起競爭游擊手以及內野工具人的席位。

Here's the detail:
Castro gets $1 million in each of the next two seasons, and Minnesota has
a $1 million option for 2007 with a $500,000 buyout. If he has 500 plate
appearances in 2006, Castro can void the option.
In addition, the option price can increase to $1.2 million, depending on
his performance, and the buyout could increase to $100,000.
Castro can make an additional $250,000 per season: $25,000 each for 300
and 350 plate appearances; $50,000 each for 400 and 450 plate appearances;
and $100,000 for 500 plate appearances.

不行，我還是想不透為什麼要簽 Castro。
游擊區由 Bartlett/Punto 平分就足夠了，絕對比 Castro 好用，
內野 UT 也還有 Augie Ojeda 可以頂著，
更何況以上三人都領最低薪，加起來才跟 Castro 的 1M 差不多，
把這每年 1M 拿去付給 Radke 或 Koskie 不是很好嗎？
我不懂為什麼像 Neifi Perez 和 Juan Castro 這樣的角色都可以領 1M 的年薪啊！
市場上還有很多更好的選擇，何必這麼急著簽一位次級品呢？
不懂、不懂、我不懂...
唯一想得到的猜測：這是 Gardy 要求的，
內野沒有個 veteran 在的話他不放心。
唉！走了 Guzman 又來個 Castro...
