Lin will likely be added to Boston’s 40-man roster on Nov. 20 to protect him
from selection in December's Rule 5 draft. An outstanding defensive center
fielder with above-average speed and excellent plate discipline,Lin is a solid
option for emergency depth in the outfield. He would get more of a look as a
potential starting option if he added some power,which has essentially bee
non-existent part of his game to this point.

The Seattle Mariners obtained left-handed-hitting outfielder Chih-Hsien Chiang
in the deal with Boston for pitcher Eric Bedard. Chiang has all the tools to
become a very good Major League player, with quick wrists,a sweet,sweet swing
and enough foot speed to beat out ground balls or take an extra base on a drive
to the outfield.Chiang has a very strong arm from right field and plays
solidly in all phases of the game. To date in the AFL, Chiang has shown himself
to be a high-average hitter with quick hands through the ball with enough bat
control to drive in runs. Power may be the last part of his game to develop.

胡金龍隸屬的球隊ADELAIDE BITE，去年(2010-2011)例行賽戰績是23勝17敗，在六
隊中排名第三，並晉級季後賽，但最後於總冠軍賽落敗。本季球隊中的Paul Mildren
, Stefan Welch, Chin-lung Hu都是值得關注的球員。另外還有Tom Brice，幾個禮
拜前參加末代世界盃表現亮眼，還入選大會明星隊的的外野手。
