Britton notches MLB-record 39th straight game without earned run

Zach Britton hasn't given up a run in a very long time.

The last earned run the Baltimore Orioles closer gave up was on April 30,
when he inherited a run against the Chicago White Sox.

金鳥超級終結者Britton上次掉自責分已經是4/30對白襪了。

With a clean ninth inning Thursday against the Oakland Athletics, Britton set
a major-league record with his 39th consecutive appearance without giving up
an earned run.

今天對綠帽拿SV後，連續39場無責失，樹立大聯盟紀錄。

By reaching the mark, he broke Brett Cecil and Craig Kimbrel's records of 38
games, set in 2015-16 and 2011, consecutively.

打破Cecil跟金寶共同保持的38場紀錄。

He also notched his American League leading 35th save of the season, while
lowering his ERA to a sparkling 0.56 mark.

35SV、0.56 ERA!!!

But over the course of his streak, he has given up three unearned runs. The
record for most consecutive appearances without surrendering a run is 38,
which Kimbrel did in 2011.

不過在39場期間，他有丟了3分非自責分。聯盟的連續場數一分未失是金寶2011的38場。
